Easter Egger: long saddle feathers

Hello all,

This is my feathered friend, Harry: she's around 11 weeks. S/he was purchased as a day-old pullet, but has had us wondering nearly every week. She's always been more aggressive/assertive than the other pullets, and has a taller stance. Now I'm seeing her saddle feathers get quite long, and her coloring is a bit splotchy....maybe darker red around her shoulders? Does anyone have a speculation on whether Harry is going to begin crowing in a few weeks?

I'm not seeing any signs of a cockerel. The comb is small and pink and the saddle feathers are still rounded at the ends rather than pointy. Looks like a girl to me.

Haha. You betcha....at 4 days old, she walked around kicking all of her sleeping friends just to wake them up.

No big comb, no male saddle feathers... No cockerel signs what so ever; the color pattern is female... you have a pullet.
