Easter egger Or ameraucana

So I’ve had these lady’s for over a year now but they were rescued and should be about 5 years now. I’ve heard that Easter eggers and ameraucanas get mixed up and was wondering if they are ameraucanas like they should be?

One way to know the difference when you are buying any, is whether or not the seller uses the color name. Real Ameraucanas are always called by their color name. (Buff Ameraucana, Black Ameraucana, Wheaton Ameraucana, etc.) If the person or feed store has it listed as “Ameraucanas” like that with no color name, then they are Easter Eggers.

Well they are rescued so I was just told they were ameraucanas but thanks that’s a great tip!
