We got her (him?) with three other pullets a month ago and it's gotten more aggressive/assertive with everyone. S/he was hatched on 11/1, so is 14 weeks now. I'm hoping that she's a hen, but am too new to this chicken business! Can someone tell me?

ok, cool! thx! So, the aggressiveness - like continually chasing the other pullets around and yesterday jumping on the back of another youngun is just her working out the pecking order?

You have one gorgeous pullet there! Be sure to tell us what color eggs she lays... I have 3 EEs. 1 lays green, 1 lays blue, and 1 lays pink.

110% pullet if it was a cockerel i would expect to see deep dark red on the wings and some nice hackles by now as well

Is this a chica, or no? 8 weeks old this weekend, I believe that she is 1/2 Silkie and 1/2 EE. The farmer I got the eggs from had some blue eggs, he also had brown and Silkie eggs, and I'm not positive what she came out of. She happens to be my favorite. runs in the middle of the pack size wise but behavior says ROO!! What do you all think...
