Hello, I was curious as to whether or not anyone had an idea as to whether or not these chickens were roos or hens ... One of my Easter Eggers has already crowed and has been growing in vibrant tail feathers, but the other one we're not sure about.

Here's the Rooster (we named him Pumpkin before he was a "he"):

At 2 weeks old:

And now at about 68-70days:

He's a loooovely fellow, but sadly we can't keep roosters ... So I really want to know what you guys think about the one on the right ... I will be so sad if I can't keep either of them :'[

Here's the other (Paprika) at 2 weeks:

And now at 68-70days:

"She" is much more docile than Pumpkin, but I'm worried because her tail feathers are curling and there's a sheen of green on the longest ones ... Hasn't crowed at all so far, but I don't know anymore! If other pictures will help I'll gladly upload some (I have a whole album specifically designated to them ...) so any ideas as to gender are much appreciated!

Really hoping they're not both roosters ...

I think if that were a boy you would see a bright red comb by now. She is stunning, by the way.

Thank you! That is such a relief to hear that she may be a pullet after all ... and yes, they are both adorable :)
Pumpkin was my favorite, but now that we have to find him a new home, does anyone know of a place that takes Roosters to adopt out?
I can't keep him but I don't want anything bad to happen to him either ... We live in Stratford, CT.
