Can somebody please help me???? Against my better judgement i bought some "ameracauna" (EE) at tractor supply about a month ago. I cant get photos of them. I am pretty sure at least 4 of the ten are roos. Can anybody tell me specific things to look for in the breed (mutt) that can better help me distinguish them?????

You can tell by the pea comb. One row of peas is a pullet, 3 rows of peas is a cockeral.

Is that always true? I have one with no comb and HUGE legs! He is also very bossy and keeps everyone in check and has no tail but obvios pointy saddles and hackles. There is a small one with spindly legs and three rows of peas.... are there any other traits?

at that age with the comb the way it is i will stick to the cockerel guess, i wouldnt get rid of any till i was 110% positive (hackle and saddle feather positive that is)
