I am new to this so I was wondering if someone could explain to me the difference between Easter Eggers and Ameraucanas/Araucanas?

Hi and [IMG] from North MS. Sorry I don't have the answer either, but I am sure someone on here does. If you don't get the answer from this post, go to the index and post your question under breeds, you may get more specific answers there since this is under the New Member Intro's. Glad you joined and look forward to sharing pics and stories in the future!!

[IMG] from the Finger Lakes of New York! It looks like you might have the answer already, but it is my understanding that Araucanas and Ameraucanas are very specific breeds, EEs are chickens that lay tinted eggs, but don't have all of the characteristics of either Araucanas or Ameraucanas.
