By request a thread to post what eggs you would like to hatch for the Easter Hatchalong.

Feel free to poat what breeds you are looking for.

Also post what breeds you would like to offer.

Egg swapping is a good thing as well. Trade your eggs for someone else's eggs. Oh so Fun!

Have fun everyone and I wish you all the best of luck for hatching!

Great idea! Anything on my list needs to be west of the Mississippi in order to HOPEFULLY have a decent hatch rate. From the east coast is too far to travel. Soooo..

    Buff orps
    Any polish
    Any silkies
    Any cochins

And all I have to offer are designer eggs. My roo is either a Blue Wheaten Ameraucana or a white bantam Silkie. My Hens are:

    RIR
    White leghorn
    Barred Rock
    Buff orp
    White crested black polish
    Bantam mottled cochin
    Black sex link
    Red sex link
    And American Game fowl

I am hoping my silkies will ALL be laying. One is now but the roo is too young and so are the rest of the girls. I have blue and black together. I am waiting on pins and needles for my bantam polish to be laying (should be any day now they are 7 months old). I also have some black and buff bantam cochins that should be laying by then. I really want to build up my breeding stock. Waiting for my polish to lay is killing me!

Quote:If your polish is anything like Elmer you will be waiting another 3 months. Silkies and Polish bantys take FOREVER to start laying.
