Eastern Kentucky Shows

Alright, I been living in Eastern Kentucky for over 2 years now. Are there ANY poultry shows close by. I live in Paintsville Ky, therefore, we are surrounded by Prestonsburg, Pikeville, and also Huntington WV if there are none closer. I'm having chicken show allergies, I gotta find a few. Only one I've seen listed was somewhere by Louisville, Ky. Thats over 3 hours for me.

I also live in eastern Ky and have not found any shows closer then ones in Ohio and Louisville. I think there was one in lexington not long ago. I myself don't show but have a cousin who likes to show some of my birds and he has always taken them to Ohio.

build a cage bring food and water, and make sure the bird doe not freak out

so try the bird in the car at first before you so show (all from books

do you have 4-h? or you might be able to get the APA or ABA to start one near there

Honestly, we do have a 4-h but I don't know what they do? I put my foster son in 4-h back in August, and ordered a BUNCH of leaflets and books from them. Never received them. Couldn't reach anybody ever at the phone they provided. No one called back when I left messages. So...I think it is just not run right,' I dont know! I did however get the "cabin plans" for my son to build his little cabin. So he built it, and it was pretty nice. They just came back to judge them yesterday at the school??? Go figure. Small town!?
