We FINALLY have our coop and run finished, except for burrying the wire around it so nothing will dig underground. Is there any easy way to bury the wire? My husband keeps saying its going to be SOOO much work just to bury the wire. Really??

We live in NH and have lots of rocks and granite ledge. What I did is I made a wire skirt aroud the bottom by extending the hardware cloth 14-16" and bending it at a 45deg angle. I just put some loam over that and let the grass grow over it. Simple, no digging, no worry.

    Hope this idea helps [IMG]

If you think it's not hard, grab a shovel and give it a try.

Reality is it's pointless to bury the wire when you can stop them at the surface by simply laying it FLAT on the ground and covering it with a thin layer of soil so grass will anchor it in place
