Good morning,

I picked up several chicks about 3 weeks ago - 2 Rhode Island White, 2 Rhode Island Red and a Barred Rock. One Rhode Island Red is a bit bigger than the other - is there a way to identify is it is a male at this age, easily?

The comb/wattles are the best things to go on. Size and color. Usually it's better to wait until 6 weeks to judge but sometimes it's obvious earlier.

They look pretty identical, no comb or wattles yet. Color is the same, except the bigger one has a lighter head and slightly longer tail feathers. Could just be a couple days older. Ill wait and see!
