My little brood has decide that the dog's food belongs to them. I have a feeder for the dog that holds 20# of dry food. It has a flap that has to be pushed to get to the food. When the brood gets it the mood, they will line up four deep and go for the food. I know that cat food is something that they can eat, but what about dog food. They also love his water feeder. The good thing is that the dog doesn't seem to mind so long as he is not trying to use these at the same time.

They should not eat very much cat food; it is not nutritionally balanced for them; too much sodium, for one thing. I would not let them have a lot of dog food, either. These pet foods are concentrated nutrition; nothing natural about them.
