Eating snow

Every time I open the coop, one of my frizzles runs over and starts eating snow. This concerns me because she has fresh water and I'm afraid she will drop her core body temperature and freeze. Should I be concerned?

I wouldnt think you have anything to worry about. It sounds kinda funny to watch though.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Almost all my chickens do the same thing and they are fine. I work all day and once the water freezes that is what they do to drink.
