8 incubator chicks now 5 days old...they aren't in the floor in the bathroom anymore since we got them moved over to larger brooder in garage which let's me sit at their level and interact with them more.
Last night I noticed their crops are HUGE! Like almost bug as their little bellies! The crops are soft and they are all acting just fine. Had a couple poopy butts but that is better too.
Am I overfeeding them? Is that possible?
They are on Manna Pro Chick Starter Feed Medicated Crumbles.
I have them dry food with little bit of chick grit as well as warm watered crumble mixed (can't remember what yall call this) to help them adjust to new environment since it was considerably cooler than my bathroom they were in past few days. They have their brooder plate and I have a heat lamp as well for few more days since garage is in 50s.

Here's few...not sure if u need better angle pics or not.

After reading this, and looking at your photos, I think it's just normal chick behavior.

They especially like to stuff their crops in the evening, so they can be digesting it all night long. (Night can be a long time when they are that little!)

If they have free-choice chick starter, they should be fine. Almost all chickens can be trusted to self-regulate their food, which makes your life simple: just keep the food available, and let them decide how much. (The exception is Cornish Cross chickens, who will overeat, but there are no Cornish Cross in your photos.)
