eating very little feed

my hens free range all day but with the cold there is not much for them to eat they eat very little feed in the coop? use to fill it up every day now its like once a week they do get other things like deer meat dry cat food rice is this normal that they have slowed down so much on the feed?

Mine are eating like crazy right now, because the cold blast here in Ohio has really been keeping them inside the coop. It would seem, with winter here and less things to eat, that your birds would eat more too. Are they thin? I'd say to just keep those feeders full, and if they're not thin, I wouldn't worry too much, since you give them other foods. I don't give my flock table scraps and such. I have a flock of 14 chickens, and they need their two feeders filled about every other day.

fat as ever ex.the few that are molting getting one to two eggs a day out of 7 hens all a little less then 2 yrs old
