Hi, I'm a new member. I have a wonderful coop but only two hens at this time. I'm looking for more so if you have a suggestion as to where I can buy some good layers please let me know.

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Definitely check out the links provided by Yorkshire Coop. You might also want to check on craigslist. They often have chickens in need of homes. I hope you can find some healthy, good laying hens.
Feel free to ask any other questions you may have too.[IMG]

Did you want a particular breed? Some are better layers than others. At this time of year with shortening of daylight hours, even proven layers often slow down or stop laying. Production hens will probably continue to lay thru winter.
