That's a bug, lol.
Here's the video:
Seems like all my videos from the old platform aren't working now.
I have a question, the humidity in my incubator is usually between 55 and 60%. It is day 13 and 12 out out of 13 eggs seem to be doing very well. What should my humidity be in day 18? I usually get different answers when I Google it so I thought it was best to ask here.
55-60% is way too high until day 18...you could have a lot of dead chicks before day 18....I would not raise the humidity at all if day 12 is 60%...
I would drop it to 20 or so until day 18
I live in Fl. & run a lower amount of humidity (less h2o) @ start up.. I have great success w/55-60% for my last 3 days (chickens). During the summer, I don't add water until day 18 when my Region has 100% already in the air. I have a batch going right now and tweaked the RH down yesterday to the 30's. I will bring back up in a few days for my lock down.
Just what I do....
Humidity is highly localized..as to what works best....as is what time of year it is for me up here...
See what you get for results and adjust them next time....for us up here any success at hatching this time of year is rare.
@BantyChooks or anyone else, if you find posts with broken videos let me know and I will show you how to find the working link. It's quite geeky, and I'm thrilled I figured it out on my own!
Wow!!! I am excited...you all know how well I do geeky tech stuff!!!!
Wanna teach me? Do you have a few spare months?
Grats on figuring it out....wanna help me figure out what is wrong with my coffee maker?
