EE and BO 6w, Still pullets?

I’m reposting now that they’re a little older. If we have a roo, I need time to find a new home. Last time I posted everyone said they were looking like pullets still. this is my first time ever having chickens, so if you could explain why you are thinking either way that would be a great learning experience. Thank you in advance.

I say pullets
 
They all look like pullets. Looking at the combs on the buffs with single combs, they are all yellow and small. On the chickens with pea combs, they are also relatively flat and only slightly pink. At this age you look primarily at the combs. With single combed breeds like your orps, they will be larger and have more color normally by this age if they were male. The pea combed breeds like your EE, can take a bit longer to show any red, but yours also have female feather coloring which is something you can see with EEs. If you look in the threads, there are many that discuss EEs in detail. Later, if your EEs were male, they would develop red over the shoulders. Hence all your birds appear to be female at this age. 😊
