We have 4 EE and 2 speckled sussex. I know at least one EE is a hen since we've started getting one light green egg every other day or so. I kind of think both the sussex are hens but decided to throw on here as well just to see what you all thought. Thanks!

I see all girls. From those combs you should have eggs quite soon.

I'd say all girls too! Your EE's are so pretty, where did you get them? So are the speckled Sussex, looks just like mine who is 29.5 weeks and still not laying.

BoogerB, I'd say you have all girls. I agree that your EEs are very pretty. I've thought about SS, but worry that they'd get too big for us with our bantams and smaller LF hens.

The 3rd pic, the chocolatey-blue hen, is stunning!

We have some kind of like that but with dark copper instead of the brown. Aren't EE's amazing??

I agree with the others - look like girls - and beauties at that! Congratulations!

Thanks! We ordered them through a small farmer supply place in Chelsea, MI. I'm not sure who their supplier is.

This was our first year for chickens so we ordered a variety. However, the Sussex are our favorite in terms of personality. They are so friendly and mild.

They are all defiantly pullets, and like Donrae said, they should lay soon. Pretty girls!! :)
