Is there any doubt that this is a cockerel? Hatched in November... been trying out his cock-a-doodle-doo for about a week now. I'm sure but the person who sold it to me (with 2 others definite hens) isn't so sure.

absolutely no doubts. Beyond the crowing, he's got male specific saddle feathers coming in, and he's got male specific coloring. Additionally, that comb is huge for his age, if he was a she.

its an easter egger... they don't have specific color patterns, since they aren't a recognized breed, rather a mixed breed that is bred for the specific purpose of colored eggs.
