Can a chick hatched from green or pink eggs lay blue eggs? I was told that chicks from green eggs only lay green eggs the same for the chicks from pink eggs.

The odds are that they will lay green or pink still. What kind of rooster are you using to breed the hens that lay the eggs?

If you want better odds of getting a blue egg layer, then I would suggest getting a pure ameraucana rooster to breed the hens.
