I posted about my EE a few weeks ago. The hatchery assured me it was highly unlikely I received a rooster, but it sure looks like a roo to me. What do y'all think? Thanks! Pics were today, it's 12 weeks old. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    That is a rooster!

    Here's why-
    1. First thing I see is those tail feathers. Glossy green sheen, long and pointy. Tell "tail" sign of a roo.
    2. Hackle feathers. A sure sign of a roo. It's those long very narrow feathers at the base of the tail. Hens don't have em [IMG]
    3. That dark red patch on the wings. An indicator of a rooster. Brown roosters usually have a dark red patch on their wings.
    4. Lastly, the comb. That's a nice big boy comb right there.

Wish you luck. Looks like you are going to have a big boy there!

That's one of the most rooster-colored birds I've seen in a while!
