Zena popped out a big 'un today! [IMG]

She didn't lay yesterday, which isn't uncommon. She is still working out her plumbing, and this was her 24th egg. But, boy oh boy, was I surprised to find that thing in the nesting box! I, simply, love that silly chicken. She's sweet, friendly and never ceases to amaze me. The brown egg beside it is from one of our RR's. Granted it is a little smaller than usual, which makes Zena's egg look humongous! I'm still giggling about it. [IMG]

Yow! That's a dandy. My sympathies to Zena, it had to hurt.

Ya, sure had to hurt. Betcha it hurt somethin' awful. (spoken like Frances McDormand in Fargo [IMG])

Poor girl, but she seemed perfectly fine after. Didn't even squawk louder than usual.

Hmmm, haven't cracked it, yet. Don't know if it's a double yolker. Perhaps, tomorrow a.m. I'm eager to find out. [IMG]

Looks like a double yolker. Ya those EE's are my favorite of them all.
