EE Pics - 4 Wks. Old

Just wanted to share pics of my four week old EEs. These are the first chickens I've ever owned, and we're having such a good time with them. They moved to their coop outside just a couple of days ago and are loving the warm weather (we live in south Louisiana). I'm still trying to make sure their coop is predator proof, and I keep noticing little things I need to change. A carpenter, I am not, but we're having fun, anyway. This morning, they were fighting over oatmeal for breakfast and just being generally adorable and hilarious. Fun stuff!

Well aren't they precious! I have three EEs, and they'll be one year old on April fools day. I just love 'em. They're by far the friendliest hens I've ever owned, and they're excellent layers of a medium sized, sea foam green colored egg.

You must be doing a good job with them, they look very healthy and happy! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Don't you just love EE

What I enjoy about all of this is that we're always making adjustments. My DS says my coop is like a fortress.
