EE rooster or hen Help!!!

We are thinking that this hen is actually a roo...but we are new to chicken farming, so could you help us find out if Shirley temple is Shirley after all...She is about 9-10 weeks or so...What do you think?

I think you are right! EE's are harder to tell but my EE pullet's never had a red comb at 9 weeks! It took them months for their comb to turn red.

Looks like a roo to me. I have an EE pullet that is 4 months old that looks just like yours...without the comb that is!

We got two EEs and the other ones comb is no where near this...I think my husband is in denial..as he says maybe she is just special...but hey we will keep her?him as long as she/he remains nice like he/she currently is..just want some more opinions please...anyone and everyone what do you think..

I think he is a HE... my 11 weeks old EE do not have a comb that red!!!
But if he is nice you should keep him, I just introduce a Youg rooster to my flock and the girls are so happy. He takes care of them and sound the alarm for predator.

I love him, even if he wakes up very VERY early in the morning
