EE: Rooster or hen??

Have had poor luck with EE's from Mcmurrray so far. We got it as 4 week (hen), its now 16-17 weeks old. Unlike previous roosters, not an aggressive personality, not very red comb. Has really thick feet and neck though. Thoughts? Thanks
