I guess I could post this on "feeding and watering your flock" but this wasn't my doing!
I let my girls out to free range in the evenings. Well, spring is here and lots of peeping baby birds up in trees...
My girls are wandering around and suddenly they begin playing a fast and furious game of keep away. Being curious as to what is causing all the excitement I manage to catch up with them just in time to see one of the EEs swallow a hatchling that fell out of it's nest... probably a pigeon or dove.
My 9 year old son, who adores the girls, was TOTALLY disgusted!
