[IMG] Back in March they stole a pic of my Crested White duckling to sell their ducks. Now I see they stole Sundown Waterfowl's Buff Silkie pic and MSBear's Cochin pic to sell their crappy birds. Lord only knows how many other BYC'ers pics they have stolen, or are getting ready to steal. Do not buy birds or eggs from these dishonest thieves! I sure hope BYC does not condone this criminal behavior. I hope we can rally together to put this guy out of business. Who's with me? [IMG]

They know Chelsea & I know. MSbear, I'm not sure she has contacted them. But I did notice they hardly have any pictures up now. HaHa. Hope they get shut down.

What I found really amusing (I mean, it ticked me off, but it showed an amusing level of ignorance), was that the Cochin picture they stole was a Columbian Bantam Cochin, and they were using it to sell SILVER PENCILED Bantam Cochin chicks! [IMG]

I think some customers are going to be a little upset when their chicks don't grow up to look like the picture!

It's not just those three pictures either...I've heard of a couple more that were being used without the owner's permission that have since been taken down. It's just so dishonest - to use peoples pictures after they've spent YEARS breeding to get their birds to that point...misrepresenting what they actually have to make money off of their inferior birds! [IMG]

So help me, if I EVER find one of MY pictures on that website (I have just started watermarking to avoid something like that, but...they way they crop the backgrounds out....), the first thing I'd do is print out a screen shot and save a copy of the webpage to my hard-drive as proof, before I contacted them to take it down. Then I'd insist they send me an order of birds in return for the money they made while using my picture as advertisement. Even if they screwed me over and sent all males (isn't that what they did to you, fattie?), at least they'd be out the postage, you know?

Quote:Yeah, that's what they did to me. Small crests too. I would have rather had the $50 cash than their lousy birds.
