I'm new to this, and this is my first year with chickens..
I have about a 5.5 month old hen.
She was acting lethargic this morning, and isolating(she was quite active yesterday). Today she is drinking but not eating. About an hour ago a lot of liquid came out of her backside, followed by an egg (might be her first egg).
She is still very lethargic. Also, looks like her abdomen is swollen, but she's feeling well enough I am having trouble inspecting.
Does this sound like she was egg bound, or perhaps something else? Would an epson salt bath also still help, and what else should do
