Ok here are the eggs I'm getting... The first one is obviously white and is from one of my Polish. The second is also from one of my Polish but I dont know what color to call it??? The third and fourth are from my large red sexlink hens... What color would you call them? I would think you would call 3 and 4 just different colors of brown eggs but I'm really stumped on egg 2??? Is is cream or peach??? Any ideas???? Also see how pointy egg two is... Do you think this would not be a good egg to incubate do to being thinner at the base???? Sorry newby questions....

Pointy eggs not the best choice for incubating. Does she lay these liek this all the time or is this just every now and then. If so wait on a regular shaped one for the bator.

I have a sebright hen, I think you would call her eggs "pale peach." My rooster is a feed store Americana. I just put 4 eggs in the incubator to see if any would hatch. I hope one does! I wonder what color eggs a baby from that breeding would produce!

It will be fun to see.

Well aren't Polish supose to lay white eggs??? egg number 2 just does not look brown at to me? In person it is the color of antique lace??? Am I wrong? I did not use flash on the pic so they are the true colors with not being lighter from flash. If anything it might be a little darker in the pic... Here is another pic.

Also do you think the narrow end would make it a bad egg to incubate? Thanks

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a peach egg, as far as I know only the Araucana hen can lay "coloured" eggs in tints of blue green and pick other then that. A "peach" egg is called a brown egg, again no expect as for pointed Im not sure

Thanks... I'm going to try to incubate it to see if it is possible... Keep your fingers crossed for me.... It's a pullet egg so I think that is why it is pointy...
