Egg eating by chickens

How do I stop my chickens from eating their own eggs or another chickens eggs. It happens multiple times a week. I also heard that feeding the shell to your chickens after you ate the egg or used it helps get nutrients back into the chickens body for more eggs. Is this true and is it affecting them eating their own eggs?

Don't give them whole shells. I crush them and give with their feeds, then they won't recognize the egg when eaten, and about the eaters, i used ti vile their beaks tip a bit, then they can not crack the egg and eat it
