I run one Rooster with eight hens is it safe to assume my chickens eggs are fertile?
Yes, if he is breeding them your chances are very high.....
How old is your roo and how old are the hens?
With that ratio, though, I would assume my eggs are fertile.
Hens are 11 months rooster just a little older. I haven't witnessed no matings but they are free range so not in view all the time.
What about a 11month old roo and a 4 year old hen do think u think her eggs are fertile??
I would think so.
Yep, definitely think they should be fertile.
Okay thank u it's been 3 days and I have seen my roo breeding the hen yet how long till u think they should breeding cause today the 3rd day being together and is not showing any rooster behavior yet!!
He could have mated with out you seeing him the act is pretty fast, he is on her back and off before you know it
