egg laying question

    i have a brown leggern thats a ear old but she lays a small egg the last one i had layed a extra large egg, why would her eggs be so small do they get larger with time,

    It might have been a double-yolk. That happens ocassionally.

Because with time there will be better rewards. I have some production blacks (derived from the leghorn) and they laid medium eggs, now then I noticed that they are laying larger.
