Egg Mystery

Today I found 2 eggs in a nest
Only 1 of my girls just started laying
Can she lay twice in 1 morning????
I do have 2 buffs that are squatting when I pet them
So maybe 1 of them laid it????
Both eggs look a little different in size/color

Although a hen might occasionally lay 2 eggs in a 24 hour period, it is pretty unlikely that she would lay two in a morning. My guess is that you now have two hens that are laying.
