Egg on it's way?????

Our Pekin bantam Rosie has been acting weird today, scratching around the nesting box and then wandering around as if she is lost. Also clucking alot more than usual. Our girls usually follow each other round the yard all day, but today Rosie seems to have other things on her mind. Do you think she is about to lay an egg????? She is nearly 7mths old now so fingers crossed, I can't wait to get our first egg I am so excited...

Rosie has done it, yeah

she has laid her very first egg. In the next box and all - clever girl.

We can't believe it my eldest daughter is so excited. The egg is so small but perfect, about half the size of a supermarket bought egg. Thanks everyone for your support.

Here is a picture of Eliza, Rosie and the new egg, I don't think we will be able to eat it. It is so precious....

Definately thought I was seeing things when I first saw that egg...

She is absolutely beautiful!!! Do us a favor and don't post pics of your daughter if you want us to pay attention to your chickens!!! How old is she??? Such a little sweetheart!!!!
