Egg producing

    Hi, kinda new to this, been around chickens as a kid but never owned any, anyway, I have heard from some that to get eggs you need a rooster around somewhere, partially makes sense but logically does not, just wondering if this is an old wives tale.

    It's an old wives tale. You do not need a rooster in order for the girls to lay eggs, they do just fine without one around.[​IMG]
