Good afternoon,
I have little 25 week old Easter Eggers, (olive) that maybe 1or 2 of them have started to lay. My first egg was pretty speckled, the second one is solid olive colored. Yesterday the egg was very faintly speckled as was the one today.
Through my research, EE are not your typical speckled layers, and other research say the chickens my or may not have a calcium issue, high or low.
Any thoughts? Or are these okay? I want to make sure my chicken have all the nutrients they need.
I ferment their food, it’s 16% protein. They Alain get oyster shells, dried bugs and veggies.
Thanks in advance
