I have one egg out of 7 that is rolling around the incubator--hatch day is not for 6 more days? Is it possible it is an early hatch?

I forgot to add, they are ducks...and there are 4 eggs rocking and rolling around! Should I up the humidity and put them in lockdown?

Quote:No i would leave it as scheduled. But now that you say duck eggs, up not sure if early hatches are common.

Thanks USSChicago, I'll ask the question in the duck section--maybe someone that is very familiar with hatching ducks can help?

I have chicken eggs and they have been wiggling and rolling for 5 days and still no pips! I am unsure of which incubation day it is as I didn't start the process with them. Good to hear you have wigglers too. Good luck!

Thanks--Im glad they're moving too. Just wish I knew whether or not to still stick to the schedule--should I still turn them? They seem to turn themselves back if I try--no pips though.
