Ok, this might be a brainless question but...

How do you measure the size of an egg for small, med, large, exlarge and jumbo?

There is also some obscure rules preventing you from putting in 11 super tiny eggs with 1 big one.

If you are selling eggs out of your farm, you can do it (at least in my state) un-graded and un-sized. This is a very good thing.

Quote:Yes, it is a very good thing. I do not want a USDA or state inspector standing over my shoulder as I collect, package, and sell eggs. Hopefully, the right to sell eggs fresh from the farm will never get taken away.

    Very informative.

According to the photos that means that our fresh farm eggs are grade AAA since ours are higher and spread less [IMG]

And are probably allot healthier and definately fresher
