Egg Time ??????

What time of the day do your hens typically lay their eggs ??

Most lay by two pm and have finished by four.

Mine have been laying between 8:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.

I thought I read somewhere that they lay every 25 hours, so I assumed that it would get later and later in the day...but for 2 months now it has been the same time of day...*shrug*

Thank you for the information !! My girls are approximately 17 weeks, & I'm waiting for my first egg. For the past week I've made 5 to 6 trips a day to the coop checking for that elusive first one !!!!!
