Is it better to use auto egg turner or to turn by hand?
I've heard that turning by hand produces better hatch results. But I've also read posts here by members who used a turner and were very happy with it. I personally prefer turning by hand, but if you can't turn them regularly, for example if you are working all day, then an egg turner would be ideal, as it's better than not turning often enough or never. During the first week or 2 it is vital that the eggs gets turned frequently.
I've turned by hand twice a day and had very good results. I've put eggs in egg turner this time and unjust wondering how it will go
Anyone else have good results from using egg Turner?
i turned by hand in a home made incubator and had rubbish results but bought a brinsea 20 and you turn the whole incubator not the egg and had fantastic results , i think its down to luck and experience to be honest
I'm gonna find out here in a few days how the egg Turner work out.
fingers crossed for you
Thanks. I have 42 eggs in it.
I always use the automatic egg turner in my Hovabator 1588 with good results.
