Just washed two days worth of eggs from 5-7 hens (not sure if a couple of them are laying yet). We have one Golden Laced Wyandotte and 6 Barred Rocks. The egg on the bottom right of the picture is from the GLW. The Barred Rocks are laying about 4 shades of eggs from dark brown to light lavender eggs, and some are brown with dark brown spots, some are brown with white spots, and some are solid. The picture only has 2 or 3 shades with solids and ones with dark brown spots. Has anyone else had such a variety of eggs from the same breed?
