I have a two year old red sex link hen( whose name is Rocky) who has the classic EYP symptoms. She has been going in the nest box for about two weeks and singing the egg song but not laying at all. Last week I noticed that she was fluffed up in the corner by herself. I brought her inside and gave her a warm bath and calcium. She stayed in the house for a few days and only passed a bit of shell and some yolk. Her dropping are bright green with some yellow mixed in, which i'm assuming is yolk.I have been giving her oral Duramycin for the past five days and she is doing much better. All four of my hens were wormed in the past few weeks with safeguard.

My question is, does the fleshy colored worm shaped object in the bottom left corner look like a worm or something else? I have noticed a few drops of blood and other fleshy colored round pebble sized blobs in her droppings as well. I know that with EYP the duramycin will help for awhile but, the end result will be death.

Should I worm the flock again? Thank you for the feedback.

The flesh colored object was about 1/4 of an inch long
