Hello everyone it’s been awhile since I have been on, I have a question my almost 2 year old White Leghorn laid a shell less egg in the run last night is this normal? Thank you so much

They have always been on Layena crumbles with extra oyster shell in it I thank you so muchAre you giving supplemental OS on the side? What kind of feed are you feeding? This is completely normal, may just mean you need to offer additional Oyster shell calcium.

As long as you are offering it on the side, they will eat as much as they need. Don't mix it into the feed, as they can eat to much. Its probably just because she is an older egg layer.I think I will give them some extra Oyster Shell

I have done that also!I agree about the calcium. I'm lazy however and just bake and breakup their egg shells and feed those back to them.
