With some olive oil Tx she laboriously laid a bloody egg after being eggbound all day yesterday, but she does not look well today... she can't walk and her itty chicken face is feverishly red.
When I found her yesterday, she was sitting on her heels in the coop, her little toes balled up like fists to her chest. She had plucked herself bare around the vent.
After she laid the egg, she seemed to be able to walk better, but stood high on her legs.
I've been feeding her pellets, grapes, and Pedialite. She is pooping plentifully and it looks healthy. The odor is not abnormal.
She is resting in a safe, warm, isolated place with plenty to eat and drink, and a little room to move.
Here's a picture of her from a few months back. Her name is Piotr Novak. Is there anything I could/should be doing??? This cutie pie is my favorite chicken...
