Hello! I was wondering how long it takes a hen before she begins to lay her eggs? And what are some things I can do to make them more comfortable and how do I encourage them to lay in their coops if that's a good place for it? [IMG][IMG]

They start laying at different ages, but generally somewhere around 5 to 7 months. Sounds like you might benefit from reading in our Learning Center and some Managing your Flock threads.
