Just out of random curiosity, does anyone here ever keep track (or make any kind of attempt at keeping track) on how many eggs you get from your ladies?

I have a bit of OCD, so I like to keep track of things. [IMG]

I also wanted to brag a bit, because my white leghorn girls haven't missed a day in 7 months [IMG] All winter long, even!

I tried keeping a little book and writing down how many eggs I got everyday. But then I would forget to write it down a day here and there and I gave up haha. I know that my egg production drops hard in fall.

I keep track on a wall calendar. I only have 1 laying at this time. I used to have 2, but she died about a month ago.

However, I have 5 toddler girls that will start at some point. They are almost 16 weeks old now.

I hope my calendar will be big enough...

Hehe, this fall I plan on having around 30 hens laying. If I don't go crazy and get an incubator between then and now *ignores bators, ignores bators*

    I keep a notebook [IMG]
