Eggs damaged in transit - patched up and fingers crossed! *Photos p5*

Did none of the patched-up ones make it to lockdown?

Quote:
Nope, none of them. Three didn't develop at all. Three had veins etc on day 6 but has given up the ghost by day 12.
To be honest, that's pretty much what I was expecting to happen. The patch jobs were just extreme optimism. LOL!

The second Buff has now pipped as well. The first one has only made about 1cm of progress in the last 16 hours.
I'm going to try to ignore them all day but will probably end up hovering over the bator like -->

Midday now, and I just came home to find Buff no. 1 flopping about the bator. I can't see very much cause my Brinsea is all steamed up.
Like that film with Sigourney Weaver.... Chickens in the Mist.

Heheheh...

Update: Another pip, this time one of my Leghorn/Daisy crosses. Now I know the hatch isn't going to be as bad as I was worried about, I'll just come back with the final result. Otherwise things are going to get a bit boring on this thread. Like the conversations in our house every hatch...

Me: "OMG a cheep!" ... "OMG it's rocking!!" ... "OMG a PIP!!!"... "OMG a cheep!" ... "OMG it's rocking!!" ... "OMG a PIP!!!" Etc etc ad infinitum...

Him: *Yawn* ... "Yes.... yes, a pip. What else did you expect, you wacko chicken lady, a bloody PINK ELEPHANT? Now shut up about it please."
