    sorry i said my quail r five days old what do i do now?
    when do i move them out without the light?

    You can take the heat lamp off them once they are fully feathered...around 4-5 weeks of age. They can go outside then if you aren't in too harsh of a climate. Here in Ontario, Canada, I probably wouldn't put new birds outside until they've completed a full moult, but there are many who do.
