We have been enjoying our daily fresh eggs from the girls since November ( they were hatched July fourth). I have been decreasing their supplemental light, as Spring is approaching and temps have been becoming milder. Today, I received two eggs the size of banty eggs....what's going on?[IMG] Has the lighting decreases begun to effect their egg production, are they preparing for a moult? None of my girls are acting off, or sickly.... I am new to this and they're are my first chickens, so any answers are better than none. THANKS

    Try giving them more protein.

That should be enough protein. Are you giving them a lot of other foods?
