Electric Netting

How many of you use electric netting for your meaties and how often do you have to move the netting?

I have them and I love it. I would just move the tractor around inside of the "fenced" area.

I have two 100' strands around two chicken tractors. I move them every 3rd day or so. I should go ahead and buy two more strands, maybe four as I'll be running 5 chicken tractors at the end of the season.

Forgive me, but is the electric fencing to keep out predators? Or to keep the birds in?
